As part of CS 247, I developed Raiinet with two friends.
RAIInet is a game similar in style to Stratego where two opposing players take on the role of computer hackers, each controlling eight pieces, called links. It’s not our original idea, it was just one of the options for a final project we were offered by the course prof.

It was a pretty fun project to develop, and definitly the hardest thing I’ve done at university so far between making massive UML diagrams and 3am debugging. The entire project was developed in C++, and really helped to develop my confidence in the language. We were super proud of the outcome of the project, and were able to add awesome extra features like Two Player Views, teleportation Gateways, and advanced graphics to indicate abilities!
Of course, we did it a bit last minute, so if I were to do it again I’d invest more time earlier on. But setting up CI was a huge boost because it helped us be confident in our code and build systems.
Since Raiinet was a university project, it’s closed source. (If you’re a UW student, good luck with your project!!)
