Capture the Flag was a project I led the developement of at Hack the North.
It's a series of 5 challenges that participants (hackers) could complete to try to earn acceptance to Hack the North 2025, while learning computer science and hacker skills along the way!
I'm immensly proud of how this project went. We had over 1338 players, many of whom were able to get all 10 stars! The project went viral within the Waterloo community, and even generated some awesome energy.
The challenge also generated lots of organic traction, and people even making their own fan guides after the challenge was complete!
The project was developed using NextJS and Supabase.

Hack the North's CTF for 2025 is now closed, so isn't generally accessible any more.
